<p>We hope you are all having a peaceful and relaxing holiday weekend! On tap for next week: THE START OF SCHOOL!!! Several events are taking place, beginning on the very first day of school. President Reilly of the Cardinal Newman Society will be speaking in the evening at the St. Joseph's Center (7:00pm). On Wednesday, the boys soccer team plays at Sunapee (4:30pm). The Back to School Mass will take place on Sunday at 10:00am at St. Joachim's. Teachers will declare their fidelity to the Magisterium. <p>Congrats to the Knights of Our Lady! The high school boys basketball team placed second in the 4th Annual Mount Royal Invitational. The championship game was the most captivating and thrilling game of the season thus far, with the final score at 45 - 43. We are very proud of the effort and determination demonstrated by the boys. You have all immensely improved on the court this season.</p> <p>The season wraps up with the St. Marie's Invitational this upcoming Friday, March 9th. Please pray for the continued improvement and formation of our high school boys.</p>

<p><strong>The 4th Annual Mount Royal Invitational basketball tournament is coming to the St. Joseph's Center on this upcoming Saturday, March 3rd. We are so blessed to have our own basketball gymnasium on campus so that we can continue to host basketball tournaments.<br></strong></p> <p><strong>Come and support our high school boys team as they try to recapture the tournament title for the second consecutive season. Games begin at 9:00am, with the Knights tipping off at 10:00am for their first game. Please wear red in support of the Knights of Our Lady.</strong></p></p>

<p><strong>Congrats to the 6-8 boys basketball team, who won their semifinal game against New Boston today by a score of 42 - 39. The Knights will now play in the championship game on Saturday, February 18th. Tip off is at 10:30am at the St. Paul's gymnasium in Franklin. GO KNIGHTS! <p>Please come and support the Knights tomorrow (2/14), as the 6-8 boys basketball team hosts the first ever home playoff game in the new St. Joseph's Center. The Knights of Our Lady finished in 4th place out of 22 teams. We are asking fans to wear red in support of the boys! <p>Mount Royal is extremely excited to have 4 basketball teams this season! What a wonderful way to give thanks to God for the beautiful gymnasium that he has so generously given us?</p> <p>Our basketball program is comprised of a junior high level boys and girls team, and also a high school boys and girls roster.</p> <p>The junior high teams have been invited into the Merrimack Basketball League, and we have gratefully accepted the invitation. <p>With only 2 weeks remaining in the regular season, the Knights have demonstrated significant growth. Our record doesn't quite reflect the improvement in team play, as we stand at 3-5 overall, and 3-1 in league play.</p> <p>Losses are typically losses only on the scoreboard, because the Knights have competed well against all foes. The Knights have proven themselves capable of winning any game, but we have failed to cultivate a sense of confidence and focus that could potentially enable us to string together several wins.</p> <p>The handiwork of God's gracious hand is always visible nevertheless, as evidenced...</p>

<p>As was previously announced, the Knights hosted two soccer matches against Holy Family Academy on Saturday, September 24th.</p> <p>Both games were action-packed. The JV game was filled with a couple of dramatic lead changes, while the Varsity match-up exhausted players and spectators,  as both teams very admirably challenged each another for the whole 80 minutes.</p> <p>The final score of the JV match was 6-5 in favor of Holy Family. It was a game full of many 'firsts' in Mount Royal history: our first EVER JV game; the first time our younger players were left to compete without the direction and leadership...</p>

<p>Mount Royal welcomes families from Holy Family Academy to our campus on Saturday, September 24th.</p> <p>There are two soccer matches today: our JV squad, consisting of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be kicking off at 10:00am. <p>On one of the many feast days dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, Our Lady of Sorrows, the Knights of Our Lady were victorious in their first soccer game of the season. Her intercession was certainly made known, as the rain remained minimal, the support poured in, and the team's resolve to come together and play hard was very high.</p> <p>This season represents a changing of the guard so to speak for our soccer program.
