Mount Royal has officially entered the blogosphere! We will certainly try our best to communicate all types of news and information regarding the school to our wider community through this new and effective media tool. We will also strive to feature guest postings from our students, teachers, and our headmaster.
The special charism or grace that influences the charity and solidarity of our community ought to be shared with the whole world. We acknowledge that we have received this school community as a gift from God the Father. The hearts and minds of the families and educators involved in our school are all inspired by the indwelling of God's love, present within us all. We will never admit that the growth and development of our school is the result of our efforts. We will always recall that God has generously shared His love with us through the school, and that He blesses us immensely. God blesses us by allowing us to receive him weekly in the Holy Mass within the school day, to communicate with Him as a community through prayer each and every day, and to discover the truths which He intends to reveal to us.
Our goal is simple. We aim to teach the whole person: body and soul. We recognize that God has given us the gift of reason to uncover the majesty of His wisdom and love, but also to use the gifts that He has bestowed upon us in order to cooperate in the building of the Kingdom here on earth. How do we know what the Kingdom looks like? Jesus states that where the Kingdom is, there is Love.
We invite you to follow one of God's many chosen construction sites: Mount Royal Academy. Who is He building? Young children primarily, but also the many adults who surround the children with love. What is he building? A community of love.
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. ... [I]f we love one another, God remains in us and his love is brought to perfection in us" (1 John 4:11-12).
