Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a full time elementary teacher for the 2015 – 2016 school year. The Pre-Kindergarten classroom features an academic-based program. Candidates for this full time position need to be practicing Catholics, and must be NH State certified or eligible for certification in elementary education. All full time teachers must be willing to profess an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to our mission, a growth mindset for themselves and students, the capacity for differentiating instruction, and of course, experience with young children (ages 3-5).

Candidates should also have the desire to share their faith through example and teaching, exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.  The candidate should also possess the ability to see potential in all students, capable of using instructional strategies and assessments that truly enhance academic and personal growth. Teaching core subjects (religion, language arts, and math) is required. The candidate should also be willing to collaborate with other faculty members and administration in order to review and create curricula.

Junior High Teacher

Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a full time junior high teacher for the 2016 - 2017 school year. Candidates for this full time position need to be practicing Catholics, and must be NH State certified or eligible for certification in elementary and/or secondary education. Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a dynamic and eager full-time science teacher for the 2015 - 2016 school year. The candidate must be able and willing to teach science classes to students in grades 6-12. Candidates for this full time position need to be practicing Catholics, and must be NH State certified or eligible for certification in secondary education. All full time teachers must be willing to profess an oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong subject background and a solid understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics. Teaching experience is preferred. The candidate must bring a commitment to high academic standards, but also an ability to build a strong rapport with students.

The candidate must be able and willing to teach math classes to students in grades 6-12. Candidates for this full time position need to be practicing Catholics, and must be NH State certified or eligible for certification in secondary education. ​The ideal candidate will possess a strong subject background and a solid understanding of mathematics curricula from Algebra through Calculus. Teaching experience is preferred. The candidate must bring a commitment to high academic standards, but also an ability to build a strong rapport with students.

Music Teacher

Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a part time music teacher for the 2016 - 2017 school year. 

Candidates should be able and willing to teach students across various ages. The schedule is flexible, but the music teacher is expected to lead the sacred choir during all school prayer events, including weekly Mass.
