August 8th, "Raise Your Glass", Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
Mount Royal Academy's 3rd Annual "Raise Your Glass" Wine Tasting and Silent Auction will be held Friday, August 8 at the Newport Golf Club in Newport. This event has been very successful the past two years, and this year promises to be no exception.
As you know, fundraising is crucial to our school’s success. We are a privately funded institution and tuition covers only a portion of the operating costs at our school. Fundraisers, like this Wine Tasting & Silent Auction, help bridge that gap and make quality education as affordable as possible for all students at our school.
So, how can you be a part of this great event?
Tickets are $50 for an individual or $75 for a couple. The ticket includes wine sampling, as well as artisan cheeses, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. If you or someone you know would like tickets to the event, please contact the MRA office or one of the Fundraising Committee members. For every ticket you sell or purchase for someone else, you will earn 25% towards your 2014-2015 Family Fundraising Commitment.
DONATE AN AUCTION ITEM
We are looking for many items for the silent auction. No item is too small! We will be putting packages together. Some examples of items that would be great to have...tickets to sporting events, airline vouchers, gift cards or gift certificates to different places, etc...Other items that do well include services such as manicures, salon services, ski lessons, vacation home rentals, etc...If you have something you'd like to donate or contribute to the silent auction, please contact a member of the Fundraising Committee. If you personally donate an item, you will earn 50% of the final selling price towards your 2014-2015 Family Fundraising Commitment.
Would your company like to sponsor the event? We have sponsorship packages starting at $250. Packages include tickets to the event, as well as many other benefits. In addition, if your company sponsors, your family will earn $175 (bronze level), $350 (silver level) or $700 (gold level) towards your 2014-2015 Family Fundraising Commitment. See the attached sheet for more information about the different sponsorship levels.
This event is a great opportunity to celebrate our beautiful school, and to share the many great things happening here with the community. Thank you for any help you can give with this event, and we hope to see you on August 8!
