St. Thomas Aquinas Chapter Inducts 6 New Students

Last evening, November 28th, the St. Thomas Aquinas chapter inducted six new students into the National Honor Society. It was a delightful and inspiring ceremony for all of the attendees. In attendance were the current members, faculty, and parents, as well as Deacon Jim Rock, the featured speaker for the evening.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high schoolstudents. More than just an honor roll, NHS  serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.

We are especially thankful for the leadership of Dr. Mary Bellino, who is the moderator of our school's chapter. We are likewise grateful to the four current members for their witness and example. Each of the four students offered remarks on the criteria for induction into the NHS.

Please join us in a prayer of thanksgiving, as we praise our Lord for these young men and women, whose exemplary display of scholarship, leadership, service, and character have been a blessing to our school community. May their efforts continue as they move on from MRA, so they may become the light of Christ in the world.
